ST. PAUL, Minn. — MNsure, Minnesota’s health insurance marketplace, is currently seeking health insurance brokers who are interested in partnering with the marketplace as a new broker enrollment center in 2023. MNsure hopes to partner with broker agencies in the following locations:
/mnsure/help/find-assister/broker-enrollment-centers.jspBroker enrollment centers (BECs) are a crucial part of the statewide network of MNsure-certified assisters who help consumers apply and enroll in health insurance. MNsure aims to strengthen this network by increasing the total number of BECs and expanding into parts of the state that have been underrepresented previously.
Partnering with MNsure as a BEC is a win for the broker agency and a win for the local community. BECs provide walk-in enrollment sites where community members can get free help enrolling in qualified health plans available through MNsure. MNsure is the only place Minnesotans can access federal tax credits that lower the monthly cost of health insurance.
In addition to providing enrollment assistance for consumers, BECs also agree to invest in a collaborative marketing and outreach campaign with MNsure. In return, BECs receive specialized support from MNsure, including:

Proposals are due by 2 p.m. Central time on July 5, 2023. Contracts are expected to run September 2023 – June 30, 2024.
