ARC Verification Procedure

The ARC is able tell assisters what verifications are needed on a case, but does not process the verifications. The ARC can also provide assisters with contact information for verifications processing agencies.

• ARC is unable to provide timelines for verification processing.
• Assisters and consumers should follow guidance on the notice to see what documents are acceptable proof for the verification requested. ARC cannot advise on whether a document is acceptable.
• The consumer should send in the verification documentation being requested to the address listed on their verification notice.
