Reporting 2027 Application Changes
10/23/2026 9:40:45 AM
Beginning November 1, QHP consumers (and assisters associated with these consumers) will be able to access a new 2027 tab in the consumer’s MNsure account and make changes intended for 2027 without impacting existing 2026 eligibility.
A few important notes about reporting changes:
- Changes that have already occurred or information that is currently inaccurate should still be reported for 2026 by updating the application in the 2026 tab.
- Changes intended specifically for 2027, such as projected annual income for the upcoming year, can be reported on the 2027 application beginning November 1 by updating the application in the 2027 tab.
- Changes made to the 2026 application after October 8, including life event changes (LECs) and FTI authorization updates, will not automatically carry over to 2027. Consumers and assisters will need to make those updates to their 2027 application (in the 2027 tab) beginning November 1 if they are also needed for the new coverage year.
Messaging has also been added to MN-EES reminding consumers that changes made to their current application will not carry over to 2027 and that they should return November 1 to update their 2027 application.
