DHS created a LoginMN video to assist individuals with creating their LoginMN account including identity proofing. The video is available in several locations on the DHS and LoginMN websites.

DHS apply for health care page 

On the Apply for health care page, within the “Families and adults under age 65” section, there is a link titled “Watch a step-by-step video on how to create your account.” This link takes individuals directly to the video. 

DHS apply for health care and already enrolled pages

On both the Apply for health care and Already enrolled pages, individuals will find a link titled “How to create an account.” When individuals select this link, they are directed to the “How do I create or access my DHS health care account?” page. About halfway down the page, there is a section titled “How do I create or sign in to my DHS health care account?” The video is embedded within this section. 

LoginMN website 

Individuals can also access the video through the LoginMN website. After selecting the “Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare” tile, individuals are directed to the DHS online application and account access page. Under the “Resident login” section, there is a link titled “Learn how to create your account.” Selecting this link directs individuals to the “How do I create or access my DHS health care account?” page. About halfway down the page, there is a section titled “How do I create or sign in to my DHS health care account?” The video is embedded within this section.
