2027 health and dental insurance rates and plan options are now available! Consumers and assisters can preview 2027 health and dental plans using MNsure's online shop and compare tools. These tools also provide estimated financial assistance, including tax credits or public program eligibility.

New and notable in 2027

• Plan choices: Minnesota carriers will offer 211 total plans, medical and dental combined, for plan year 2027. 
• New carrier: Aspirus enters the market as a new medical carrier in northeast Minnesota. 
• Plan choices: All Minnesotans have health plan choices from at least two insurance companies. Most Minnesotans have choices from three or more. 

Also, all bronze plans sold through MNsure work with health savings accounts (HSAs). In the past, consumers had to enroll in a high-deductible health plan to use an HSA. Consumers can contribute pre-tax dollars into an HSA account, which lowers their tax burden, provides money for their deductible, and can lower their premiums. 

Please note: Although 2027 plans are now available to preview, Minnesotans cannot enroll in coverage until open enrollment begins on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
